A Jew's true inner nature
stands above exile. Furthermore, the exile itself does not create a separation
between a Jew and G-d. Though exile implies that we are not found in our natural
place, we are "children who were exiled from their father's table,"
nevertheless, it was G-d's will that we were exiled. Thus, when a person
realizes that the only reason he is in exile is G-d's will, he understands that
his life in exile is also a fulfillment of G-d's will and by fulfilling G-d's
will, he becomes united with G-d.
